George Bush Toys With The Truth
As today, Rep. Jane Harman claims that Bush and his security people floated "credible intelligence" that there was a terrorist threat to the nation's capitol -so Democrats were reluctant to turn down his legislation amending the FISA law... enabling President Bush to wiretap Americans without warrants.
It turns out, according to Harman, she discovered that the "terrorist threat" was a phony - to frighten congress into voting for the law.
Well there's a big D'UH, JANE! George Bush lies, and has scared the hell out of Congress since 2001. And they have fallen for it - Harman being the biggest culprit.
We (intelligent observers) have for years been able to see through all these cynical George Bush games - why hasn't she... and a bunch of other frightened politicians?
